Special Features of DP-34:
1. Good isolation and high performance.
2. Extremely low interruption rate.
3. Especially designed for Dishnet.

Microyal has lots of experience with designing cascadable multi-switches & launch amplifier, therefore our new model of DP-34 is highly recommended for the MDU-system. There are three inputs on the DP-34 for use with up to 3 Dishnet satellites (110X, 119X and 61.5X or 148X); four outputs for connection to up to four tuner inputs; and three "cascade" connections on the switch to "cascade" to another DP-34 switch. The switch does not require power insertion, and it can be used for indoors and outdoors. 3 DP-34 switches can cascade together to connect up to 12 tuner inputs (12 single tuner receivers: Dish 301 or DishPVR 501; or a combination of single-tuner receivers and two-tuner receivers: DishPVR 721). When you want to cascade up to 7 or 8 units of DP-34 switch, you must place a DP-33 launch amplifier in between every 3 or 4 DP-34 switches in order for the whole system to work successfully. At least one of the receivers connected onto the first DP-34 must be powered on at all times to provide power towards the switch; because the first DP-34 switch one passes signals and not power. To solve this problem, use DP-34A to replace the first DP-34 switch. DP-34 can support up to 200' RG-6 cable lengths, from the LNBFs to the furthest receiver. DP-34 switches can be placed anywhere in the installation, but placement closer to the receivers is recommended.

Note: For Legacy receiver users, connect a DP-3437 to the DP-34 switch before you connect the receiver to the system, then whole system will work well.

Legacy receivers include: * Models 1000, 2000, 2700, 2800, 3000, 3700, 3800, 3900, 4000, 4700, 4900, 5000, 6000
                                              * DISHPlayer (Models 7100, 7200)
                                              * All OEM-equivalent brands

DishPro Receivers include: * Dish301, DishPVR 501, DishPVR 508, and DishPVR 721.
